Through his innovations he brought Armenian musicology to the international level. The "Universal Super-modal System" proposed by him can stand alongside such generally significant phenomena as the musical systems created by Paul Hindemith and Olivier Messiaen. His research and educational activity left a significant trace in Armenian musicology, with more than fifty years of teaching music theory and creating the first national test-books on course of harmony and polyphony. Eduard Pashinyan also introduced innovations other than musicology, such as ophthalmology, mathematics, and some fields of knowledge.}, title={Eduard Pashinyan.
